Fear Generation

All this from WND today:
Ehud Olmert, Israel's prime minister designate, has called Iran's president a "psychopath" and is comparing him to Hitler.

Dr. Yuval Steinitz, chairman of the Israeli parliament's foreign and defense committee says, "When I read the recent reports regarding Iran, I saw a monster in the making...there is only one option that is worse than military action against Iran and that is to sit and do nothing."

A "senior Israeli source" said in Washington last week that dragging out the negotiations indefinitely is not an option.

Israeli prime minister designate Olmert said,"Ahmadinejad speaks today like Hitler before taking power so you see, we are dealing with a psychopath of the worst kind, with an anti-Semite."
An anti-Semite? Jews and Arabs are all Semites. Grab a dictionary and look it up.

The U.S., Britain, France and Germany will face off this week against China and Russia over a resolution from the U.N. Security Council mandating Iran suspend its uranium enrichment.

One really good reason that China is against our quest for sanctions or any future military intrusion is they have just announced a $100 billion energy deal with Iran.

What surfaces from this WND article is that the Jews are the ones who are stirring the pot for this potentially disastrous Iranian adventure, generating all this fear of some horrid and unGodly fate for us all if we don't act, and -- so far -- totally supported by this administration.

No Iraqi connection to 911 has ever been found, so why are we Americans fighting and dying in Iraq? Saddam was no threat whatever to the United States. However, his massive military force was a threat to Israel, the enemy of all Arabs and Muslims. It was for the security and peace of mind of Israel that we invaded and occupied Iraq. Now the Jews want us to do the same thing with Iran.

With friends like that...

Fear Rising

A headline from Miami:

Raid Rumors Fuel Fear Among Immigrants

By LAURA WIDES-MUNOZ

MIAMI (AP) - Thousands of illegal immigrants stayed home this week amid rumors of immigration roundups that federal officials say were unfounded, leaving some industries scrambling for workers.

Len Mills, executive vice president of Associated General Contractors of South Florida, estimated at least 50 percent of workers on construction jobs in the region had not shown up for work.

"This is costing millions of dollars a day, and I don't know who is going to pay for it," he said.
There are a few things in this Miami article that really rubs the raw spots:

1)- It's written by an obvious sympathizer... a woman with a Spanish surname.

2)- They're not "illegal immigrants" dammit, they're illegal aliens!

3)- Federal officials are quoted as saying the rumors are "unfounded". What unmitigated and disgusting garbage! What they should be saying "Yes, its true, we're starting to enforce the law by rounding all of you up... and tossing your law-breaking butts out of here.

4)- Who is this Len Mills? Somebody who is angry because all these illegals are not showing up for work. Certainly a person who does not have a clue as to when to keep their mouth shut.

5)- It's costing Members of the Associated General Contractors of South Florida "millions of dollars a day"? Tough. I'll put it on my schedule somewhere to feel bad about that... someday.

It's about time that these illegals started to fear retribution. Feeling that they are immune to our laws may be a the very reason why 25 percent of our prison population is now convicted illegals.

How many people would just walk out of a store with whatever they wanted -- without paying -- if they knew in advance there would be no consequences?

It's the same with this invading horde of illegals. They have long believed that there would be no consequences.

It's time we change that... fear fo the law can be a good thing.

Even More Smoke and Mirrors

WASHINGTON
President Bush on Friday rejected calls in Congress for a tax on oil company profits, saying the industry should reinvest its recent windfalls in finding and producing more energy.

"The temptation in Washington is to tax everything," Bush said in an exchange with reporters in the White House Rose Garden. Rather than for the government to reap the benefit from oil company profits driven by the recent surge in global oil prices, he said, "The answer is for there to be strong re-investment."

"These oil prices are a wakeup call," Bush said. "We're dependent on oil. We need to get off oil."

By JENNIFER LOVEN
Associated Press Writer
Let's see here... George Bush, a life-long Texas millionaire and current American President, has rejected any thought to taxing the profits that he, his family and his good buddies are making in the oil industry.

When "look, my mouth is moving again" Bush says the "The temptation in Washington is to tax everything...", what comes out of his moving mouth is blathering nonsense. That's not temptation folks, that's FACT. Washington exists by virtue of taxes, period. Washington has no other means of support, period. For Bush to say that Washington has a "temptation" to tax is ludicrous, a sure and certain sign that "Mr.IQ" Bush is talking "off-script" once again.

George says "We're dependent on oil. We need to get off oil." Anybody out there that believes that George Bush -- or any of his oil loving ilk -- are going to try to wean us off our incredibly profitable (for them) oil habit also believes in the tin man of Oz.

When president "look, my mouth is moving again" Bush says, "Rather than for the government to reap the benefit from oil company profits..." guess who is really benefiting from all those non-taxed profits?

If you actually believe the PR nonsense that the oil companies would invest their profits into finding an energy source that would wipe them out, then you are exactly what the liberals think you are... Stupid.

"These oil prices area wake-up call". Well... DUH!

More Smoke and Mirrors

Here we go again:
President George W. Bush hailed progress made with members of the US Senate toward an overhaul of America's immigration laws, and said there were broad areas of agreement on a compromise bill.

"There is a common desire to have a bill that enforces the border, a bill that has interior enforcement," he said.

"In other words, a bill that will hold people to account for hiring somebody who is here illegally -- but a bill that also recognizes we must have a temporary worker program," said Bush.
America has had an immigration policy that has worked just fine for centuries. We don't need congress "overhauling" our immigration laws, we just need to enforce them.

What we need is a plan of action to rid us of the massive problems 20 million illegals are causing. What we need is to severly penalize businesses that knowingly hire illegal workers. What we need is to secure and protect our borders.

President "look, my mouth is moving again" Bush has been approving anything that supports his "amnesty" attitude, but has been doing nothing to support the twenty million Americans who have lost jobs to these "guest" workers -- those illegal aliens he wants to stay here, give a pretty little card to, maybe fine a few bucks -- the very ones who are overloading and destroying our health system and schools.

Don't ever again try to tell me that this president is on our side. It seems everything this guy wants and does is -- in fact -- anti-American.

Tamper Proof? You Bet...

President "look, my mouth is moving again" Bush wants us to believe that his "tamper proof" ID cards for his 20 million illegal "guest" workers will solve all our problems.

Somehow, I think not.

Yes Barbie, we can design a "tamper proof" ID card. But Barbie, think! Just as soon as we start distributing these "tamper proof" cards to our "guest" workers, they will become available on the black market -- the same, identical "tamper proof" card Bush wants us to believe in -- made available by the very same people in the manufacturing and distribution chain. It's called greed.

For the right amount of money, you can purchase a military ID card, a social security card, a driver's license, a passport, this all new proposed "guest" worker ID card, any damn type of ID you want... and it will be a real, genuine, "tamper proof" card, but with your name and photograph on it. It's called greed. Remember Barbie, odds are that the Chinese will be manufacturing a lot of these cards, the very folks who ignore patents, copyrights, trademarks, intellectual property rights... nuff said.

These cards will not do a thing to help the twenty million Americans who have lost their jobs to these cheap "guest" workers.

These cards will not guarantee these "guest" workers will have valid drivers licenses, safety inspected cars, and insurance.

These cards will not do a thing to reduce the huge pressures placed on our social safety nets, our hospitals and our schools by these "guest" workers.

Most importantly, these "tamper proof" bush promoted cards will not stop one single terrorist from entering America across our wide-open borders.

So, President "look, my mouth is moving again" Bush is -- once again -- demonstrating that he thinks we are all a bunch of witless fools.

Dumb and Dumber

Iran today has threatened to cut oil exports.

If they do, that will guarantee higher gasoline prices, higher than now.

We on the other hand -- or should I say president Bush, Washington and the federal government -- have been threatening Iran with nuclear devastation, invasion and occupation of their country.

We threaten with our number one weapon... the atomic bomb.

Iran threatens back with their number one weapon... oil.

And who suffers during all this posturing and threatening between two nations and their loud-mouthed, chest-beating saber-rattling presidents??

WE do... at the pump.

Last time we had an oil embargo, our "ally" Israel was invading and occupying lots of Arab territory -- with our blessing-- Dumb.

This time we are invading and occupying lots of Arab territory -- with Israel's blessing -- Dumber.

No matter how hard we try to avoid the thought, it always seems to come back to Israel, because -- if you recall -- Israel has been threatening to attack Iran if the United States doesn't.

Now that's a real ally for you, threatening to attack one of our major oil suppliers... if we don't.

What Works and What Doesn't

Bush is once again telling us what will work or will not work.
"I know this is an emotional debate," Bush said. "But the one thing we cannot lose sight of is that we're talking about human beings, decent human beings. Massive deportation of the people here is unrealistic. It's not going to work."
B.S. What we cannot lose sight of here is that we're talking about illegal aliens, millions of people who have violated our borders and our laws, and who are -- right now, today -- spitting in our faces because we have brought the subject up.

They infiltrate the United States, take millions of jobs away from our citizens, overburden our school and health systems, avoid paying taxes and their fair share -- or any part -- of the massive cost for their mandated free health care and schooling.

Bush keeps telling us they do jobs Americans won't. I am so sick of that outrageous lie I just might vomit the next time some damn politician mouths it.

Bush claims we can't weed out these illegals. More B.S. Go to any store in the United States, find the people speaking a foreign language... see if you can guess their heritage. See if you can report them to the proper authorities. See if they can prove their citizenship. See if the authorities can deport them if they arn't citizens, or legal immigrants.

Unconstitutional? A violation of their rights? More and more B.S. they are not citizens of the United States. They do not have any Constutional protections. They do not have any Constitutional rights. Those rights are reserved for our citizens, not citizens of foreign nations, or foreign nationals who have come here illegally.

This Bush guy keeps telling us that his plan in Iraq is working. Really? He keeps telling us that his plan in Afghanistan is working. Really? Those are things he just wanted to do... and now wants us to believe that they are going to work out. Really? Count the rising dead. Count the rising costs. Count the rising IED attacks.

This guy Bush keeps telling us that our economy is in great shape. Really? How does $4.00 a gallon for gas sound? How about double the cost -- or even more -- on your electric bill for your air-conditioning this summer?

Based on his proven work/won't work track record, I wouldn't give this guy a snowballs' chance in hell on being right... on anything.

Or for telling us the truth, either. He is just another bought-and-sold grubby little self-absorbed, self-serving opportunist that is doing his masters' bidding... selling out America, and us.

Classy Gal

The esteemed Senator from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy, just made a comment with words to the effect that Laura Bush is a lady of much "class".

I would remind the Senator that Laura Bush is married, and as such, is a woman reportedly not in the habit of responding to men who have repeatedly demonstrated highly elevated and excessive tetosterone levels.

I would also caution Laura Bush not to take any automobile rides with the Senator if ever out on Martha's Vineyard.

Proof? Who Needs That?

From the depths of Mother Russia:
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia would approve sanctions on Iran only if it saw hard evidence that Tehran's nuclear program was not peaceful, Itar-Tass news agency quoted a foreign ministry spokesman as saying on Friday.
Aw, come on guys, who needs proof? Bush certainly didn't need any for Iraq, never offered any for Afghanistan, so why all of a sudden this necessity for facts to start another war, this time with Iran?

Those Russians need a dose of good old American-made "Bushka".... better than vodka any time.

The New Land Of Opportunity

President Bush has just made the statement that American business should not consider China as a "Competitor", but as a place of "opportunity".

I find that statement mind-boggling, and so should you.

The Chinese government has erected huge trade barriers and is not allowing more than the smallest trickle of American goods to be sold in China, so the only realistic way that American businesses can see China as a "opportunity" is to send their manufacturing requirements there as a cost-saving strategy, reducing the cost of business and thus increasing profits.

Reduce costs and increase profits? Well, gee whiz there Batman, that sounds good...

What happens when an American business goes to China with their product needs? They do indeed reduce the cost to produce whatever products they were manufacturing... by eliminating all those pesky "high-priced" American workers with dirt cheap Chinese laborers.

Less floor space is required for things like machinery and workers, sorta like none. Energy costs plummet. Warehousing and delivery challenges solved. All they now need is a few power-point professionals to chart the profits.

Good for the business owners. Good for the stock holders. Unmitigated disaster for the American workers tossed out into the street when their job is eliminated forever.

An American business that has exported it's manufacturing operations to China is no longer an American business, it's just another Chinese business... with an American outlet.

So who is Bush (and congress) supporting with this Free-trade, open border stuff? Business owners and stock holders... period.

Atta way, Bush!

Sowing The Seeds For World War

According to Edith M. Lederer, AP writer at the United Nations, Israel is warning us all to prepare for world war:
Israel warned Monday that a new "axis of terror" _ Iran, Syria and the Hamas-run Palestinian government _ is sowing the seeds of the first world war of the 21st century.
As usual, when Israel is the subject, we are treated to the pro-Jewish view... Something that is always a long way away from the total truth.

HIDING THE TRUTH WON'T HELP. The original seeds were sown by the Jews themselves in 1948 when they overran Palestine and claimed that Israel, a small bronze-age religious community dead and gone for thousands of years, was now resurrected from the ashes of the past and re-born as a modern State. They conveniently ignored the fact that they did it on somebody else's turf, so it looks to me that this new "axis of terror" is only helping to water an already planted and rapidly growing crop.

TAKING SIDES WON'T HELP. It just does not matter what side you blow your horn for, it really doesn't. The reality is that two billion Muslims/Arabs will never recognize Israel, and have been preparing to destroy them for fifty plus years. They have seen the Jews as armed invaders and vicious occupiers of Palestinian lands for over a half-century, and the fact that they have failed in the past to drive the Jews into the sea means nothing. They will try until they succeed, with one or more of these "limited" territorial scuffles... however many it takes.

DENYING THE FUTURE WON'T HELP. Unfortunately for all the rest of us, when one or the other side -- Again, it doesn't matter which -- starts to lose this or the next "limited" scuffle, they will use their "nuclear option" with the atomic weapons they don't admit to having, instantly dragging the rest of the world into the conflict, creating this new "world war" the Jews are now warning us of, triggering a nuclear exchange that will quickly escalate into what we have all feared for generations.

IGNORING REALITY WON'T HELP. We all know and realize that the Jews have nuclear weapons and will use them if things start going really bad for them. But do you think that the Iranians, or some other Arab/Muslim State, don't already have one or more nuclear devices, sold or given to them by China, Russia or North Korea? Wake up.

Perhaps now you can start to realize the true cost to the entire world for this little Jewish "Homeland".

Be like a boy scout... get prepared.

Hey! That's Not Our Job...

Gov. Janet Napolitano has vetoed a bill that would have criminalized the presence of illegal immigrants in Arizona, going on about how Arizona police agencies want immigration arrests to remain the responsibility of the federal government.

Hey! It's not our job to protect our State and its citizens... get somebody else!

The proposal would have expanded the state's trespassing law to let local authorities arrest illegal immigrants anywhere in Arizona, the nation's busiest illegal entry point.

Janet wrote, "It is unfortunate that the Legislature has once again ignored the officials who are most directly affected by illegal immigration and instead has passed yet another bill that will have no effect on the problem but that will impose an unfunded burden on law enforcement".

That's a world-class mouthful of brown, squishy stuff, big time.

Unfunded burden? Police are already fully funded 24/7 to enforce the law and arrest lawbreakers.

Another thing... you mean to say that the Arizona Police are not presently "authorized" or allowed to arrest illegal aliens? That has got to be complete stupidity. Roll out the red carpet Flavio, immunity is guaranteed!

One of Janet's real problems is that a whole hell of a lot of Arizona's "police agencies" are awash with Mexicans.

Of course they object.

Discouraging, Very Much So

When I started this blog, I was actually concerned that I would not find enough events to comment about.

Since the start, I have been paying greater attention to the news around the world, and have found that it never takes more than a minute or two to find something like the news (below), concerning the destruction of irreplaceable historical ruins.

It is becoming apparent, at least to me, that there are no tulips this federal government will not stomp on in their Heaven-sent quest for Peace on Earth.

Spending the time needed to search out news about America and what we are doing around the world -- actually what this federal government is doing around the world in America's name, or for America's supposed good -- has become an almost daily adventure into the discovery of distressing mistakes and looming disaster.

Not fun... not fun at all.

How To Make Friends and Influence People

This from the Belfast Telegraph:

By Rupert Cornwell in Washington
17 April 2006

...for more than a millennium, Babylon was one of the great cities of antiquity. It reached its greatest glory in the early 6th century BC, as the capital of Nebuchadnezzar II, builder of the celebrated Hanging Gardens.

Babylon declined and fell into ruin after it was conquered by the Persians under Cyrus the Great in around 538BC. But no devastation seems to have matched that inflicted by US troops and their Polish allies after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.

...after entering Babylon in April 2003, coalition forces turned the site into a base camp, flattening and compressing tracts of ruins as they built a helicopter pad and fuel stations. The soldiers filled sandbags with archeological fragments and dug trenches through unexcavated areas, while tanks crushed slabs of original 2,600-year-old paving.
Yessir. Giving Iraqi kids Hershey bars will certainly overcome any ill will caused by the United States Marine Expeditionary forces and their intentional destruction of Iraq's irreplaceable historical artifacts and sites.

Don't blame our soldiers, they were only "following orders". But it would be most interesting to find out who -- and why -- someone would order such an act, to build a base directly on historical ruins, instead of anywhere else in a vast sea of sand and rock.

That Just About Covers Everything

From ABC News:

Apr 16, 2006 OKLAHOMAA CITY (Reuters) - A man in the Oklahoma town of Purcell has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the 10-year-old daughter of his neighbor and planning to eat her body, police said on Saturday.

Kevin Underwood, 26, was arrested on Friday in the murder of Jamie Rose Bolin, who was reported missing after she failed to return home on Wednesday from a public library in Purcell, 36 miles south of Oklahoma City.

"Regarding a potential motive, this appears to have been part of a plan to kidnap a person, rape them, torture them, kill them, cut off their head, drain the body of blood, rape the corpse, eat the corpse, then dispose of the organs and bones," Purcell Police Chief David Tompkins told a news conference.
Let's see here... Did he miss anything? Pick out a 10-year old child, then kidnap, rape, torture, kill, decapitate, drain, re-rape, eat the corpse and then toss whatever is left into some isolated trash heap.

According to the news release, he openly admitted his guilt.
He confessed to the murder after investigators found a plastic tub in his closet that had been taped shut, according to an affidavit released by Purcell Police.

"At that time Mr. Underwood stated 'go ahead and arrest me. She is in there. I chopped her up,"' the affidavit said.
Hey, that's good enough for me. I see no need for a trail, in which defense lawyers would most likely drone on about and agonize over this guy's childhood, how he was mistreated by his Daddy or Mommy -- or both -- never had a puppy, was ridiculed and/or mistreated by other kids as a child, suffered from ADD, OCD, AHCD... who knows what else, successfully dragging his trial into a long, hot summer of absolute nonsense and completely unnecessary expense.

This cretin has admitted his guilt. Drag him up in front of a judge, accept his plea, pronounce him "officially" guilty. No "life without parole" stuff, where we taxpayers would spend -- on the average -- $90,000 a year on room and board for this maniac. Immediately take him out and hang him. Cremate the remains and scatter the ashes throughout the entire the city dump.

Leave nothing behind -- tomb stone, grave marker, anything of that nature -- that could ever act as a possible focal point for other potential lunatics.

Shouldn't take anywhere's near the whole summer.

A Response To Rice

Iran has just made some pretty bold statements:

Iran said it could defeat any American military action over its controversial nuclear drive.

"You can start a war but it won't be you who finishes it," said General Yahya Rahim Safavi, the head of the Revolutionary Guards and among the regime's most powerful figures.

"The Americans know better than anyone that their troops in the region and in Iraq are vulnerable. I would advise them not to commit such a strategic error...".

"I would advise them to first get out of their quagmire in Iraq before getting into an even bigger one," General Safavi said... with a grin.

When asked to respond to comments by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice highlighting part of the UN charter that provides for sanctions backed up by the threat of military action, the president of Iran replied, "She is free to say whatever she wants... We give no importance to her comments," he said with a broad smile.

There's a clue there...

Those guys place no importance on anything women say or do. To them women are just property to be used -- or abused -- as they see fit. Their women are not allowed to join into the conversation of males, are not allowed in any decision making. They do not, and cannot, speak for men, or the community, or the government. It is a deadly insult to those guys to allow a woman to speak for them. A man who gives a woman the upper hand is not a man. A man who sends a women to do his talking for him is to be ridiculed and scorned

That it may be an attitude more fitting for the "Dark Ages" makes no difference. That's how they think, and that's the reality we have to understand when conducting any sort of communication with them.

When we send a woman to speak for us, we run smack into this ingrained attitude and instantly get nowhere, generating ridicule and scorn in the process. Sending a black woman only compounds the difficulty.

So maybe we get smart for a change and send and any one of a large number of available macho-dude, Alpha-male types (equals in the eyes of those guys) to tell them the way it is, instead of publicly slapping them in the face with some of the major shortcomings in their culture.

They might even listen.

I can see no reason -- other than grievous duplicity -- to handicap our obvious ability to handle the Iranians more successfully.

Perhaps this administration is sending a woman intentionally knowing that such a act will only strain the situation further. Whatever the men is Washington are, they are not stupid. They -- beyond a doubt -- know all this stuff, so perhaps this administration is intentionally "baiting" the Iranians with Rice, knowing full well those guys will rise to the bait and do exactly what they're doing... respond with this oh-so-typical chest-beating hoo-ra that can only worsen the situation.

Which conveniently gives Bush even more ammunition in his claim that yet another invasion and occupation is necessary for America's -- and the entire world's -- safety and security.

You gotta wonder...

UFO's And Us

Joseph Farah over at WND is chewing on the UFO phenomena today...

UFO's?

Consider...

There is mounting evidence of a fairly advanced civilization here on planet Earth that was destroyed by forces unknown somewhere around 10,500 to 12,000 years ago. How long that civilization had existed before it's untimely demise in unknown, perhaps for thousands of years. What caused it's collapse is unknown, and how truly advanced it was is yet another unknown.

Pretty sketchy stuff, but 12,000 years is a long time when measured in human terms, and more than enough time for nature to erase most evidence and -- just as importantly -- time to forget. However, in a geological time frame, 12,000 years is just a tick of the clock. Earth has had time for any number of civilizations before we came along.

Using our own present civilization as a guide, we can see that two hundred years can take a culture from oxcart to space travel. That's pretty impressive by any measurement.

If a technological civilization arose say, 14,000 years ago, and lasted around 3,000 years, how advanced would they have been? Could they have actually succeeded in establishing self-supporting bases on other worlds in our solar system? Bases that had the ability to survive a global disaster on Earth?

Today, our civilization has the capability to put humans on the moon and establish a permanent base there, one that would of necessity become self-supporting. We actually have workable plans for this, to create a space "ark" on the moon, just in case Earth is devastated by an unexpected asteroid hit like the one that destroyed the world of the dinosaurs. No reason to think that any other previous civilization could not have done the same thing. Keep in mind that humans who existed 12,000 years ago -- and even further back -- had brains identical to ours... no difference.

Those off-planet bases of this previous civilization would have had the ability to survive, to eventually grow and expand -- even to prosper -- without any aid whatever from the home planet, but it may have taken a very long time.

Obviously, the primary goal of these "marooned" space explorers would have been to eventually return to Earth, and perhaps have been doing so for the last two or three thousand years, only to originally find the survivors -- the left behind remnants of humanity -- back in the caves, living almost as animals, and far to dangerous to contact directly. The technical and intellectual gap between these off-planet survivors and the earthbound survivors would span thousands of years at the time, a truly unbridgable generation gap.

A good path of action for them would have been to just wait until we caught up, until we reached a point where we wouldn't club them to death if they showed themselves. That may be exactly where we are today. Unfortunately, we still shoot at things we don't understand, and now we have nuclear-tipped weapons.

If Einstein's theory's are indeed correct and nothing can exceed the speed of light, and if UFO's are actually real, then the only reasonable explanation is that they are presently from somewhere in this solar system, most likely originated on planet Earth, not from our present time, but from our past, and that they are us.... just smarter and wiser, and very patient.

36 Billion Profit

This from ABC News:

April 14, 2006— Soaring gas prices are squeezing most Americans at the pump, but at least one man isn't complaining.

Last year, Exxon made the biggest profit of any company ever, $36 billion, and its retiring chairman appears to be reaping the benefits.

Exxon is giving Lee Raymond one of the most generous retirement packages in history, nearly $400 million, including pension, stock options and other perks, such as a $1 million consulting deal, two years of home security, personal security, a car and driver, and use of a corporate jet for professional purposes.

Last November, when he was still chairman of Exxon, Raymond told Congress that gas prices were high because of global supply and demand.

"We're all in this together, everywhere in the world," he testified.

Yeah, right.

Try to name one human being on earth that is worth $400,000,000.00. Then tell me how much of that $36,000,000,000.00 profit of Exxon's was due to price gouging.

And that's just Exxon... they're not the only players who are shoving nasty things up your rectal region.

I think it's time citizens took over these totally crooked, price-gouging, ripoff corporations. And why not? The oil they take from the ground is a national asset.

If these S.O.B.'s can't play fair with us, nationalize them.

400 million dollar retirement package? That's just plain robbery, and all of us are the victims.

Separation What?

WorldNetDaily's "Jerusalem bureau" has a writer named Aaron Klein. He just wrote a piece on how the Jewish West Bank withdrawal would be 'disastrous' for America's terror war.

The article Klein wrote was full of the usual Zionist "don't give up anything" sort of approach to the Middle East quagmire, the stuff we have all learned to just gloss over while looking for some substance.

One thing he mentioned caught my attention. He wrote of a "separation barrier", 95% complete in some areas, that prevented any co-mingling of Arabs and Jews.

It sounds a lot like a fence, a wall, a physical construct, a "barrier" designed to prevent one people from infiltrating another, bringing with them disorder and disruption.

He could have been talking about our border with Mexico, except we have not yet built this "separation border".

Hey, if it's good enough for the Jews in Israel, why not for us here? I would bet that this so-called "separation barrier" is being built with American money funneled by American politicians who support Zionism, so let's grab off some of that money and build our own fence.

Rice Comes To The Rescue

Just about the time I had decided there was nothing in the news today worth commenting about, Secretary of Something-Or-Other (SOO) Rice Steps forward.

That's the one dependable thing about politicians... not a day goes by that they don't want to be in the headlines...

Here's what SOO Rice is saying, according to Barry Schweid, AP Diplomatic Writer:
Denouncing Iran's successful enrichment of uranium as unacceptable to the international community, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Wednesday the U.N. Security Council must consider "strong steps" to induce Tehran to change course.
Oh... Secretary Of State(SOS) Rice.

Iran has now the ability to enrich uranium, but it is said by many analysts to lack the equipment, including a nuclear reactor with which to make nuclear weapons. But... SOS Rice brushed aside suggestions Iran was far from the goal of building any nuclear weapon as the United States and its allies suspect.

She said... "The world believes Iran has the capacity and the technology that lead to nuclear weapons."

She said ... "The world does not believe that Iran should have the capability and the technology that could lead to a nuclear weapon."

I find it amazing that this administration -- and it's mouthpieces -- can seriously claim they know what the "world believes", when they don't even know what the democrats are thinking.

SOS Rice also referred to "The United States and its Allies". I would love to see a list of those allies, so we all can know and understand just who is so nervous about Iran getting electricity made in reactors that are not capable of making nuclear weapons fuel.

As stated above, experts in the field (analysts) have mentioned the fact that Iran does not have the equipment -- including the necessary kind of reactor -- to do anything with their enriched uranium.

No matter. According to SOS Rice, it's what we and our allies (whoever they may be) believe that counts.

I see. We are to "brush aside" facts from experts, and go with what "we believe".

Hey, if that's good enough for President Bush to start another war, so who am I to question? Someone with a son of draftable age, that's who.

The beat on those massive "Drums of War" is hard to ignore. Dance, anyone? I'm certain that SOS Rice "got rhythm".

Trained and Qualified?

Meanwhile, we pick up this story over at "The smoking Gun" about one of our highly trained government professionals getting confused over who the bad guys really are:
APRIL 11--A Drug Enforcement Administration agent who [unexpectedly] stars in a popular online video that shows him shooting himself in the foot during a weapons demonstration for Florida children is suing over the tape's release, claiming that his career has been crippled and he's become a laughingstock due to the embarrassing clip's distribution...

...Lee Paige, 45, was making a "drug education presentation" in April 2004 to a Florida youth group when his firearm (a Glock .40) accidentally discharged. The shooting occurred moments after Paige told the children that he was the only person in the room professional enough to carry the weapon. The accident was filmed by an audience member, and the tape, Paige claims, was turned over to the DEA. The drug agency subsequently "improperly, illegally, willfully and/or intentionally" allowed the tape to be disseminated. As a result, Paige--pictured above in a still from the video--has been the "target of jokes, derision, ridicule, and disparaging comments" directed at him in restaurants, grocery stores, and airports. Paige, who writes that he was "once regarded as one of the best undercover agents, if not the best, in the DEA," points to the clip's recent airing on popular television shows and via the Internet as the reason he can no longer work undercover. He also notes that he is no longer "permitted or able to give educational motivational speeches and presentations..."

No kidding. He should also be denied the opportunity to carry a firearm... he has clearly demonstrated his lack of experience and knowledge in the use of a Glock .40, particularly around school children.

He could get re-assigned to protect the vice-President... they both appear to have about the same level of competence in the use of firearms.

If Paige was actually "once regarded as one of the best undercover agents, if not the best, in the DEA", we are all in deep do-do.

-1) Unfortunate but unavoidable accident?

-2) Another one of our highly trained government professionals caught being careless and stupid?

-3) Just another one of those truly unqualified and untrainable idiots who got yet another federal government job because of race?

You make the call.

Want Proof?

Think these illegal aliens are doing jobs that Americans won't do? What they are really doing is taking jobs away from Americans, Americans in desperate need of work.

Arrival of aliens ousts U.S. workers
By Jerry Seper
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
April 10, 2006

An Alabama employment agency that sent 70 laborers and construction workers to job sites in that state in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina says the men were sent home after just two weeks on the job by employers who told them "the Mexicans had arrived" and were willing to work for less.
Linda Swope, who operates Complete Employment Services Inc. in Mobile, Ala., told The Washington Times last week that the workers -- whom she described as U.S. citizens, residents of Alabama and predominantly black -- had been "urgently requested" by contractors hired to rebuild and clear devastated areas of the state, but were told to leave three job sites when the foreign workers showed up.
"After Katrina, our company had 70 workers on the job the first day, but the companies decided they didn't need them anymore because the Mexicans had arrived," Mrs. Swope said. "I assure you it is not true that Americans don't want to work.
"We had been told that 270 jobs might be available, and we could have filled every one of them with men from this area, most of whom lost their jobs because of the hurricane," she said. "When we told the guys they would not be needed, they actually cried ... and we cried with them. This is a shame."
I will bet a serious amount of money that a huge majority of all those "jobs" Bush brags about creating have been taken by illegals working for less.

One thing we could do -- since the feds won't do anything -- is find out who those contractors are... and put them out of business.

Hiroshima Revisited

Reports today claim that President George W. Bush is planning for nuclear "bunker-buster" strikes against Iran's nuclear program sites.

This cannot be accurate, this cannot be true. This just cannot be. No sane American President would initiate a "pre-emptive" nuclear attack on anybody, anywhere.

Let me tell you why.

These atomic weapons, so casually referred to as "bunker-busters", are in reality atomic bombs many times larger than the Hiroshima or Nagasaki bombs. The fantasy idea that the detonation of these weapons underground would successfully limit collateral damage, is exactly that: Fantasy.

Ok, so one of these things can penetrate 10, 20, even 30 yards into solid rock before exploding. The crater it creates would be close to three or four times as deep and far larger across. It would destroy a bunker alright, but what else will it destroy in the process? How large is the blast radius? How far is the distance in which total destruction would occur? Thousands will die instantly, many thousands later, due to radiation poisoning.

Radiation?

Of course. These are atomic weapons we're talking about here. We brag about our "clean" bombs, but they're not really "clean"... they're just "cleaner" than the very "dirty" bombs the Russians made.

We have been shown how just one of those "suitcase bombs" the Russians developed would destroy Manhattan. These "bunker-busters" are far, far larger.

We are told Bush is worried about Iran attacking Israel or US troops abroad if they develop some sort of nuclear weapon. Well, me too, but the use of atomic weapons -- no matter what we call them -- because we're worried, is absolutely out of the question.

America got away with using atomic bombs in WW2. We were at war with a nation that attacked us without warning. They were just much bigger bombs, and nobody came close to understanding the long-lasting consequences of their use... political, enviornmental, the effect on health worldwide... you name it.

I do not believe for a second that America can escape the consequences this time around, particularity if Bush orders their use in one of these totally un-American "preemptive" attacks.

If Iran attacks our troops stationed overseas, we certainly have the conventional military capability to handle the problem. If they attack us with their imagined and non-existent nuclear weapons, our imagined and non-existant response would to be remove Iran from the face of the earth. There is no way the Iranian government cannot understand that.

For America to use nuclear weapons preemptively against any nation on earth to "protect" Israel from an imagined attack is complete and total insanity. Israel and the Jews -- based on their own particular and unique religious beliefs -- have made their own bed in the Middle East. They are wholly responsible for whatever consequences their actions have produced.

Use a nuclear weapon many times more powerful than the Hiroshima or Nagasaki bombs on a people not at war with us? Incomprehensible! It's just like I said:

No sane American president would ever do such a thing.

If George W. Bush is actually considering such an action, he needs to be removed from office immediately -- along with all his neocon warmongering advisers -- before he sets America on a course that would ultimately result in national suicide.

The stigma, the scar, the shame of such an action imposed apon us by the entire world would be non-ending. That is not the America we want to leave our children.

A Nation of Immigrants?

I keep hearing from some sources that America is a "nation of immigrants".

For that to be accurate, all of us here would have to arrived on these shores during our own lifetime. My ancestors got off the boat in St. Augustine, Florida, during the seventeenth century. They were the only immigrants in my family tree.

Every one of my predecessors born here in America since then have been -- and are -- native born natural American Citizens. Nobody in my family has been an immigrant for well over two centuries.

That goes for most of today's American families, they've been around a long time.

So, to call us a "nation of immigrants" is completely inaccurate. It may have been a fact during George Washington's time, but is most certainly a false statement -- now -- during George Bush's time.

We are a nation of American citizens facing a very nasty illegal alien invasion. We are also a nation with a government that is far more worried about 10 or 20 million foreigners than they are about the 280 million citizens who have had their roots here for decades.

A point to remember:

Most of these illegal aliens don't want to become American citizens. They want a large part of these United States to become a part of Mexico. That way, they can benefit from all the things we have built here, without actually having to pay for them or earn them, without having to learn English, or study for citizenship, or take an oath to protect and defend our Constitution.

Listen to their leaders, that's exactly what they are saying -- publicly -- over and over.

We need to really listen to what those in Mexica, La Raza, LULAC and other Mexican organizations are saying... and act accordingly.

Bush and his collection of cronies want us to believe that the Arabs are our real threat, a perfect example of not being able to see the forest for the trees.

Tell me, how many Arabs have you seen lately out in the streets of America demanding the right to be criminals?

Time For The Executioner

The Mayor of San Francisco weighs in:
SAN FRANCISCO - Mayor Gavin Newsom said Thursday that The City will not comply with any federal legislation that criminalizes efforts to help illegal immigrants.

The mayor also denounced a bipartisan congressional proposal that would beef up border security and allow as many as 12 million illegal immigrants to gain legal status.
I have a bit of French in my lineage, which makes me a bit partial to the guillotine, so there you are... my first candidate for the chopping block.

President Authorized Leak

It now appears that George himself "declassified" and authorized the "leak" of the NIA (National Intelligence assessment) information that former aid Libby is being raked across the coals for.

Wise-sounding pundits are saying the President broke no laws in the process. Both the president and vice-president have the legal authority to do exactly that.

My point?

Remember how Bush was all incensed about leaks? How angry he appeared and how he was going to fire whoever was responsible? How he portrayed on national TV that he and his white house were the victims of unspeakable chicanery* in this matter?

Well now. Turns out he was the very one who declassifed the information and authorized its release, so he knew all along who the guilty party was... and is.

At the very least, this is blatant dishonesty from a man who won the presidency on his now tarnished appearance of supposed honesty and openness.

*chicanery
(noun) 1 : deception by artful subterfuge or sophistry : TRICKERY ; 2 : a piece of sharp practice (as at law) : TRICK
No connection to the term

Chicano
(noun) : an American of Mexican descent
These are people who have been victimizing the Bush white house in an entirely different manner.

Good job, George, you are destroying your own party.

looks like we may being going back to some form of beltline gridlock after the next election. We certainly need it. This republican controlled federal government has been an unmitigated disaster.

Not that a democratically controlled federal government would be any better... we need that gridlock to keep those Washington lunatics from going nuts, as the republicans have demonstratively done in the last five years.

And Now, Rudy Rios Weighs In

Who the hell is Rudy Rios?

He was a coach at Cesar Chavez High School in Houston, Texas, who has been ejected from his coaching position after using school equipment and supplies to advocate the cause of illegal aliens.

Rudy printed and handed out a flier supporting illegal immigration. According to the Houston Chronicle, the fliers read:
"We gots 2 stay together and protest against the new law that wants 2 be passed against all immigrants. We gots 2 show the U.S. that they aint (four-letter expletive) with out us (sic)."
You got that, you non-indigenous English-speaking whites of European descent? You ain't s**t without them illegals.

This Mexican, whether he be legal or illegal, is supporting a movement which wants to toss you and your entire family out of America, a movement which claims ownership of everything in a huge section of America.

Now absorb this:
Rios is an English-as-a-second-language teacher, and is keeping that position despite his ouster from the baseball program.
English as a second language? According to the chronicle, this guy is making around $42,000 American taxpayer dollars a year, and he will continue to teach English... like that found in his flier.

And here you've been worrying about some Arab terrorist causing problems. Look in your own backyard. That surly group of Mexicans staring at you want much more than your job.

Listen to their leaders: They want your car, your home, your city and your country. And they want you to disappear.

That "Made For TV" Perky Smile

"Perky" Katie Couric, 49, is going to become a news anchor. She's leaving NBC to join CBS, where she supposedly will become the first woman to anchor a network weekday evening newscast alone.

I wonder just how this TV persona of hers -- so deeply ingrained in her psyche after fifteen years of effort -- this perky, flip, light-headed, see-me-smile-so-cute image is going to work when she starts delivering the news of more American soldiers killed and maimed by yet another IED, or of a hundred thousand killed in another massive tidal wave.

Will she keep those claimed six million viewers when she drops this smiley-face facade and starts trying to project "Gravitas", trying to act serious and weighty for the usually bad news? Or will she only report happy, smiley type news more in line with her carefully crafted perky, smiley, chitty-chatty TV image?

You'll have to let me know... I won't be watching.

Jeb "Bi-Lingual" Bush Weighs In

Jeb Bush, governor of Florida and younger brother of the present President, has stepped up to the plate on the illegal alien issue.

He is accusing politicians of "pounding their chests" on immigration for short-term political gain, and that the tone of the debate had been "hurtful" to him and his Mexican-born wife, Columba.

Jeb reserved some of his sharpest criticism for conservatives in his own Republican Party, calling it "just plain wrong" to charge illegal immigrants with a felony.

Excuse me?

I consider it "just plain wrong" to sneak into America -- breaking our laws in the process -- then stay here illegally, clogging up our school and health systems in the process, while not offering one red cent to help defray the costs. The vast majority of them continue to flaunt our system and break even more of our laws by driving on our highways in uninspected cars -- many of them smoking junkers -- with no driver's license and no insurance.

That's just plain wrong, Jeb boy.

Also, there is no such thing as an "illegal immigrant". One is either a legal immigrant, or an law-breaking illegal alien... period. The very fact that one is an immigrant means they are here legally.

He also opposed "penalizing the children of illegal immigrants" by denying them U.S. citizenship, so he must favor automatic citizenship for any offspring of criminals -- whether they were born here or not -- since border-jumping illegal aliens are criminals.

Jeb boy has been very quiet over the years on the issue of his wife's nationality. Where she hails from is no concern, unless it affects Jeb's position on things. But how can he possibly make an unbiased decision -- or even a reasonable statement -- about this Mexican mess under such a circumstance? Or his brother either?

It's a bit easier now to see why the Prez is so paralyzed on this issue... One of the family women has his feet to the fire, as it were.

Bad House, Or Bad Idea?

A small-time Texas librarian has accused a small-time Arkansas lawyer and real-estate shyster that she had bad taste in decoration.

She kept a "bad house", says the book stacker of the writ server.

The small-time Texas librarian is now a President's wife, while the small-time Arkansas lawyer and real-estate shyster is now a United States Senator. At least one of these individuals -- once nothing more than a tag-along wife -- has the authority to make public statements as a result of actually being voted into office, but the other is still just a tag-along (I came with my husband), and ought to just keep quiet.

Perhaps using a broom around the place once in a while in an attempt to be marginally useful would be more helpful if the present tag-along yearns for publicity.

Attacking the dangerously fanged and deadly lizard queen in her private den (inside the beltway) may prove to be a long term and disastrous mistake by someone whose only real experience outside the home is sorting books and collating.

I'm Not Surprised

After having recently written two letters to Texas Senators about this invasion by some twenty million illegal aliens and one to the President on the same subject, I am not surprised that none of them have sent any sort of response. These three Texans have not acted in America's best interests for some time, so I see no reason for them to start now.

I have lost any faith and trust I ever had in the federal government and the people we have voted into office in Washington to represent us. To a man (and woman), all of them have gone to Washington and succumbed to the siren song of power and influence, and whoever their real masters are, they are serving them well.

They still talk the talk, and tell us all that they are there for us, that's just a part of the act. Those of us who still believe that should say goodbye to Dorothy and Toto... and return from Oz.

I could possibly be wrong, but actions always speak much louder than words. The White House and Senate -- for some time now -- have been generating nothing but a slow but certain death to all things American.

We Must Save The Golf Courses

According to WorldNetDaily, New York Mayor Bloomberg made this incredible statement on a radio talk show, which he co-hosts:

"You and I are beneficiaries of these jobs," Bloomberg told his co-host, John Gambling. "You and I both play golf. Who takes care of the greens and the fairways in your golf course?"

This statement makes me believe that the Mayor is no more in touch with the average American than he is with the microbes on Mars.

The really sad thing about this is that Bloomberg's attitude is reflected by the majority of those in our very own United States Senate.

And you keep thinking that America still has a chance?
