I could go on forever.  Point is, don't take all those "facts" bandied about by Global Warmers,  the EPA, liberals, Democrats, Republicans, Progressives -  ad nauseam - seriously... All their "facts" have been tailored to fit their particular message which is always designed to give that group advantage over everyone else.

There is no doubt  that a few among the ignorant and uneducated that read the above "facts" about water will try to avoid it at all costs because water is deadly. It is, but only under the right circumstances.

It's often a hassle, but before you ride off with banners flying over some new "fact", do a bit of checking first. It  can save a lot of future embarrassment and backtracking.

The Neglect Of Our Veterans

According to the Washington Times:

"The Obama administration received clear notice more than five years ago that VA medical facilities were reporting inaccurate waiting times and experiencing scheduling failures that threatened to deny veterans timely health care — problems that have turned into a growing scandal."

Not surprising. Below are a few of the alarming actions taken by this president and his devotees:

Obama and  his Administration apparently do not like or trust our military. They have - since day one - worked diligently towards the goal of reducing the size and capabilities of our military.

Literally hundreds of  competent and dedicated Generals and Admirals have been shown the door, forced out with early retirement. military budgets have been reduced every year of Obama's presidency. Expenditures for new equipment and money  for spare parts and repairs has practically vanished.

His administration considers returning vets to be dangerous "potential terrorists". Why?

He is arming all of his departments with military hardware. Federal bureaucracies like the USDA are being equipped with MPAV's,  body armor and machine guns? Why?

And now we are learning that his support of our veterans has been absent.

True, weapons research has continued apace, but these weapons may be intended for the civilian army he talked of during his first campaign, a "civilian army just as large as just as well equipped as the United States Army".

Why do we need such an army?

For that matter, why this massive federal government push for thousands of surveillance drones to monitor the activities of lawful American citizens? Drones that can be easily armed?

Literally hundreds of so-called FEMA camps have been constructed. Look at a few of the new ones with Google Earth. They aren't camps, they are prisons. Watch towers, double fenced, gates with guards, remote. Who do they intend to fill them with? Hurricane victims? In Phoenix?

So, what do these indicators point to?

Let's take look at  some of Obama's friends and mentors during his college days and his formative years. Friends like Bill Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, Saul Alinsky.

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, trusted friends 

of Barak Obama. Past members and leaders of the

Weatherman terrorist group, bombers and killers.

 They think you may need to be "eliminated".

Read about those people. Read what they believe in, what they have done.

In a 1982 video documentary No Place To hide: The Strategy and Tactics of Terrorism  Ayers and Dohrn said they actually believed they would be:

"successful in overthrowing the U.S. government and that, with the help of the Cubans, Chinese, Russians, and North Vietnamese, they would occupy America. Americans would have to be "re-educated" in camps, similar to what the communists did in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and other countries they had taken over. Here is one of the chilling revelations Larry Grathwohl made in the film:

I asked, "Well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?" And the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated.

And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers"

"Eliminated". Imagine. That would be more 19 million more than Hitler sent to the grave. You gotta wonder if those FEMA camps have ovens.

These people bombed american government buildings and killed American citizens. Why are they not in prison? Or, why were they not executed? Who is - and has been - protecting them?

Why is understanding them so important today?

Barak Obama's longtime association with  these two unrepentant Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn continues to this day. Efforts made by Obama's friends in the media to suppress, contain or explain away this continued association has in large part been successful, but as more and more indicators show that Obama and his friends are following Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" to the letter, this effort to hide their connections may collapse.

So. Think all of this is either coincidence or wacky conspiracy theories? That these one-time young Socialist dreamers have changed their spots?

Watch "No Place To Hide: The Strategy and Tactics of Terrorism"  by  Larry Grathwoh,  and read "Rules for Radicals", by Saul Alinsky.

Arm yourself with knowledge.

Then decide for yourself if these once-rabid, bomb-making terrorists and radicals are capable of a complete reversal of beliefs and are now shining examples of a capitalistic and freedom-loving American citizen.

If they have indeed changed their spots(as they claim), ignore all those indicators. They're just a bunch of coincidences, and Obama's final three years in office will actually end with his peaceful departure... Instead of a "national emergency" requiring the suspension of elections "until further notice" and enforced by all those militarily equipped bureaucrats and police.

Ignored and forgotten sick and dying veterans would not be much of a threat then.

Maybe Some Really Bad Bugs?

Oh looky, Mr. Farmer, here come your local USDA agents!

The USDA is now looking for body armor. Level IIIA Ballistic Resistance body armor.

This is just after they started looking for submachine guns on May 15th. Submachine guns with 30 round magazines.

What the hell is going on?  We're talking about the department of Agriculture here. What do they need with automatic weapons and body armor?

Maybe our farms and ranches are about to be invaded by giant mutated ants and spiders.

Or, maybe they are becoming another part of Obama's civilian army he talked of during his first election cycle, the one he said needed to be as large and as well equipped as the U.S. Army? And under direct control of the president?

I'll bet it's all about being embarrassed by that Bundy face-off, where the feds had to tuck their tails between their legs and melt away.

No more of that, by golly!  Next time they'll be armed and armored like a Navy SEAL team. The next Bundy-like confrontation will be another Ruby Ridge or Waco.

What is astounding is that these latest soon-to-be jack-booted USDA thugs will have been once-average Americans like the rest of us. What was that about "Absolute power breeding absolute corruption"?

Our stick-built sheet rock houses won't last a second when these boys show up.

Better beef up that tornado shelter.  Or move to Mexico. All they have down there is roving gangs of bandits. Bandits who readily admit they are indeed bandits.

OK Genius, Name Something

Gotta just love jerks like this. Making a really dumb statement like that, with a Indian standing behind him sporting a head full of endangered eagle feathers. Anyone who has lived close to a reservation knows Indians don't give a damn about the environment. They live in some of the trashiest places on earth.

Just for fun, here are some suggestions he might make if forced to back up his babble:

Solar. Wind. Geothermal.

SOLAR.
We all need electricity at night. Or maybe he just beds down at dark after an exhausting day of staying awake.

WIND.
We all need electricity even when the wind quits. And it does. Or maybe Mr. "Indiana Jones Hat" lives in that Tepee behind him with Mr. "Eagle Feathers Hat" and doesn't need electricity.

GEOTHERMAL
Iceland uses it, but Iceland is one big active volcano with a few people living on it's slopes and beaches. Poke a hole in the ground and stream comes out. Providing heat and light for 325,000 Icelanders is magnitudes easier than providing heat and light it for 7 billion, you know, the rest of the planet.

Or maybe Mr. leather-jacket-with-lots-of-fringe(How Roy Rogers!) figures somebody will just go ahead and invent an entirely new technology by noon tomorrow that is pollution free and maybe uses unicorns and rainbows for power.

If nimrods like this want to get up and spurt this sort of nonsense, they better have a viable, workable and immediate alternative, or shut the hell up.

Personally, I'm sick of jerks spouting their idiocy.

You need to understand that anti-everything dudes like this want everybody to return to nature, live in Tepees, or Hogans, or grass shacks, or adobe mud shacks, or in caves, grow your own food, hunt you own meat, tote your own water and use tallow candles for light. Or just disappear from the face of the earth so they don't have to put up with our horrid polluted civilization any longer.

What the heck, looks like he already has his Tepee and eagle hunting partner.  Yummmm. eagle meat!

But are those microphones he's using to spread his babble ?

Racially-Based Fight

Streamwood, Illinois:

“The African-Americans and the Hispanics, they were just attacking each other today,” said student Sarah Sullivan. Police from Streamwood and several surrounding suburbs responded after a racially-based lunchroom brawl quickly spun out of control. “It was at least 40 kids fighting, then it traveled all the way up to the 2nd floor. They fought inside the offices,” said student Deshawn Cavin."

Turns out they had been dissing each other on Facebook and Twitter and it spilled over into reality.

I've said for years that the blacks and the Mexicans would be at each others throat one day. The millions of Mexicans that are spilling across our borders have been taking over the jobs and neighborhoods once belonging to blacks.

Look at south Los Angeles. The invading Mexicans have almost completely ethnically cleansed the blacks from areas that have been traditionally black for decades. That does not sit well with the brothers, and now it seems their kids intend to deliver some payback.

It must be quite a shock to all those PC liberals and progressives to realize one of the largest inter-racial fights recently had no white males involved. That must really rattle their world view.

This little dust up between high school kids will stir up already high emotions both sides.

Yikes... What Was That?

As I grow older, my usage of various meds continues to rise. The rainy springs here in Dallas have caused my allergies to blossom. A lot of foods I used to enjoy now causes heartburn. Aches and pains pop up more and more often.

There are numerous products on the market designed to help with all of that. But, as you may well realize, medications manufactured in the United States are often prohibitively expensive.  Enter the generics, much much cheaper, usually manufactured overseas, typically China or India.

I have made a habit of buying the generics under the faulty assumption that their safety, quality, reliability and effectiveness is under close watch by the FDA.

Ha.

The Acetaminophen I've been using for aches and pains has turned out to be the problem with my liver, so I have returned to plain old Aspirin and the liver situation vanished. The brand of Acetaminophen I was using is a major brand name American made product, but not often mentioned is the fact that it has killed a bunch of people, mainly by messing up the liver.

Back to generics.

The FDA  is supposed to be monitoring all these "cottage factories" in India and China, but the ugly truth is they don't have nearly enough money and manpower to do the job properly. Not even close.

We need to demand that the labeling on our drugs tells us where the drugs are manufactured and that the FDA has inspected their operation - sometime THIS YEAR - and found it sanitary, sterile, clean, and that they are using inspected and approved ingredients.

Instead of tossing our taxpayer dollars down the bottomless rabbitholes of foreign Gimmedats, let's give the FDA enough money to do their job. Maybe even bring back our pill makers to the U.S.

After all, it is our health at stake here.

Oh yes... the headline: Yikes... What Was That?

I went to get a generic antacid pill this morning and something other than a pill dropped out of the nice, modern looking, supposedly sanitary plastic bottle with safety cap - a sizable blob of something definitely not associated with the pills.  

Color me suspicious... and no longer a buyer of that product.

Oh Oh....

And here I thought that Dallas was far enough away from Yellowstone to be initially safe from the next big blast, giving me enough time to pack up and head out.

According to the above map, the Dallas area could be buried in ten feet of ash, maybe more. But should I worry? Well no, since the federal government has plans, lots of plans.

The federal government is quite worried about an eruption and has reportedly been planning to spend billions of taxpayers dollars to relocate citizens out of the fallout area. Perhaps to the east coast? Not a chance.

If the Yellowstone supervolcano erupts, then millions of U.S. citizens could end up in Brazil, Australia, or South Africa.

The federal government has already - believe it or not -  offered the African National Congress  ten billion dollars a year for ten years if they would build temporary housing for displaced Americans.

According to the South African news website Praag,  the African National Congress was offered $10 billion a year for 10 years if it would build temporary housing for Americans in case of an eruption.

But according to Praag - for the first time in history - Africa has refused free money from us, stating that  “We have our own challenges, even if there is enough housing and infrastructure available, it will destabilize the country and may even bring back apartheid.”

Apartheid? Wow.

I guess they didn't read between the lines in the federal governments offer as to exactly which Americans would be temporarily housed.  It would have been the fulfillment of President Lincolns plan to return  Africa's displaced native sons and daughters to their homeland. Yes, Lincoln would be labeled a racist today. He  had suggested that all blacks be returned to Africa. His reasoning was quite startling. If you want to know what they were, look them up for yourself.

Silly South Africans. They thought the federal government was preparing to send Americans of European descent to live in that 100 billion dollars worth of temporary housing. No. Those folks - according to the Praag website, would be sent to Australia or the Brazilian rain forest, perhaps even Argentina.

Australia for the possibly useful refugees, the Brazilian rain forest as the dumping grounds for the rest. And possibly Argentina, where all those nasty Nazis fled to after WW2. (Yes they did. It's a part of actual history, the kind of stuff our kids are no longer taught in school.)

And here you thought you knew what your government was up to. And I'll just bet you had no clue whatever that the federal government is so worried about Yellowstone that they are trying to make arrangements to house American refugees -  not in the Eastern United States where all the bureaucrats live - but around the world. 

What nobody seems to be talking about is - regardless of you ethnicity - it won't make a tinkers damn who or what you are, or where you go if the Yellowstone Super Volcano blows. It will make the dreaded "nuclear winter" scenario seem no more than a cloudy Sunday afternoon. Billions will not survive the solar blackout caused by all the ash and dust in the high atmosphere. That will stop all plant growth for at least two years. No sunlight, no plant growth, no food, no  people.

Would I let the bureaucrats shuffle me off to the Brazilian rain forest? Ha. Me, like millions of other Texans,  Arizonians, Californians, Coloradans, etc., would have already packed up and drove south into Mexico and taken over the place.

La Reconquista in reverse. What irony. The massive effort by thousands of Mexicans working for decades to retake the American southwest foiled by some stupid volcano. 

In the long run, it wouldn't make a whit of difference. Most of us would starve to death anyway, whether we were in Africa, Mexico, Australia or the American east coast.

The eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano - if as massive as in the past - would end civilization as we know it and force the survivors back into the Bronze Age. 

But look at the bright side, Our worldwide population problem would be solved, and billionaires like Gates and  Soros would inherit the entire earth for pennies on the dollar and totally tax free.

Or what was left of it. 

You can't make this stuff up.

Ho Hype, No BS, Just Data

Remove the influence of politics, remove the massive profit potential of carbon credits, remove the starry-eyed misconceptions of the greenies, and guess what?

No global warming.

What we are experiencing are normal weather fluctuations that have occurred since the dawn of time.

So, the next time someone tries to tell you the world is about to become a fireball and destroy all life,  remind yourself that they are not promoting data, just opinion based on propaganda..
   

Oh Yeah... This Will Work Out Well

Yep. There will be that hollow ringing sound as countless Seattle small business owners slam shut their door for the last time.

But the good news is that Starbucks will do just fine, they charge enough for their coffee to prosper under even a $50 minimum wage.

All those (rich) Chinese refugees from Hong Kong that swarmed into Seattle several years ago(when Hong Kong was turned over to communist China by the Brits) would probably be most upset - if they were paying people in their businesses minimum wage in the first place.

It would seem that Seattle is chomping at the bit to turn itself into another Detroit.

Like that gal Flo in  those Progressive ads said: "Don't call security, this is just getting good".

Just Keep On Keeping On

NASA has just released the above photo of the pressure suit to be used by our astronauts when exploring Mars.

I would jump for joy and dance around the Maypole (It is May 1st) except for one teeny-weeny problem:

We can't even get to the space station without hitching a ride on a Russian rocket. Beyond that, a  Mars rocket by us is a total impossibility in today's reality.

Buy by golly, we got our Mars spacesuit all ready to go.

I suppose the new strategy now is to hitch a ride on a Russian or Chinese rocket after they establish a Mars spaceport.

A ride to the space station on a Russian rocket - today -costs us over 60 million dollars per astronaut. That's a pretty expensive seat.

How much will a ticket to Mars cost us endlessly generous taxpayers? Maybe NASA will trade pressure suits for seats.

Sad, how far the once mighty NASA has fallen.
